The decision was issued by His Excellency Dr. Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sheikh, Minister of Education and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the University Higher Education Fund, Appointing Dr. Samer bin Muhammad Al-Aqeel as Assistant Secretary-General of the University Higher Education Fund for University Affairs, Dr. Al-Aqeel obtained his doctorate from Texas A&M University in the United States of America in 2007. He also previously held many government positions and worked as a consultant for many agencies.
Dr. Al-Aqeel extended his sincere thanks to His Excellency the Minister of Education, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Fund, to their Excellencies and Excellencies the members of the esteemed Council, and to His Excellency the Secretary General of the Fund, Dr. Turki bin Sulaiman Al-Zumai, for this precious trust. He prayed to God Almighty to be of good faith and to help him do everything he can to achieve his duties in the Fund and serve his country.
