Opening a positive channel of communication in educational institutions and the private sector in the Kingdom with educational institutions and investors around the world. Through this major scientific event, the Ministry of Education seeks to provide unique investment opportunities for education and open new horizons in developing the private education sector in the Kingdom. It enables educators and those interested in education to learn about the latest trends and developments in education. The exhibition accompanying the forum is the largest event at the level of education exhibitions and conferences in the Arabian Gulf region and reflects the Ministry’s belief that exhibitions and conferences constitute an important element in the future growth of the global economy. It is an essential part of the transfer of information and the spread of knowledge and professional practices. It is a major factor in building understanding and relations between countries, cultures and civilizations.
The University Higher Education Fund participated in the exhibition accompanying the Fifth International Forum on Education to highlight the goals for which the Fund was established, the most important of which is supporting universities in implementing their scientific and practical programs. During the forum, His Excellency the Secretary General of the University Higher Education Fund, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulrahman Al-Shuwaier, participated in the session “The Developmental and Investment Role of Endowments in Education.” He said during the session, “The objectives of educational endowments aim to provide sustainable financial resources with stable growth to support the activities, programs and initiatives of educational institutions and enhance “Its ability to reduce its dependence on the government budget.” During the session, he touched on the role of endowments in education and stressed that they provide liquidity to educational institutions when needed to sustain programs and support long-term scientific research, thus creating justice between generations and sustainability of resources.
