The decision was issued by His Excellency Dr. Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sheikh, Minister of Education and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the University Higher Education Fund, Appointing Dr. Omar bin Mohammed Al-Manea as Assistant Secretary-General of the Higher Education University Investment Fund, Dr. Al-Manea has many academic and professional qualifications, as he holds a doctorate in finance from Adam Smith College at the University of Glasgow in the United Kingdom and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certificate. He also previously worked as a financial consultant for a number of government and private agencies.
Dr. Omar bin Mohammed Al-Munaie extended his sincere thanks to His Excellency the Minister of Education, Chairman of the Fund’s Board of Directors, their Excellencies and Excellencies the members of the Board, and to His Excellency the Secretary-General of the Fund, Dr. Turki bin Sulaiman Al-Zumai, for their confidence in appointing him as Assistant Secretary-General of the Fund for Investment. He prayed to God Almighty to be of good faith and to help him do everything he can to serve his country and his duties in the Fund.
