His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Mohammed, Acting Emir of Jazan Region, A visit to the headquarters of the investment hotel project at Jazan University.
His Highness was received by His Excellency the Director of Jazan University, Professor Dr. Marai bin Hussein Al-Qahtani, His Excellency the Secretary-General of the University Higher Education Fund, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdul Rahman Al-Shuwaier, and a number of directors of government departments in the region.
His Highness began with a tour of the hotel facilities, starting with the royal suites, the corridors, and the hotel’s sea view, and he learned about the hotel’s most prominent facilities, including the royal suite, the health club, the restaurant, and the hotel halls.
For his part, His Excellency the Director of His Excellency Jazan, Dr. Marai Al-Qahtani, welcomed His Highness the Prince and gave a brief explanation of what has been accomplished from the hotel and what it will add to the region as a whole, stimulating tourism activity there and providing job opportunities for the people of the region. His Excellency stated that the hotel is characterized by an innovative urban design and modern interior décor that suits the environment, climate and beauty of the Jazan region.
In his speech, His Excellency the Secretary-General of the Fund, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulrahman Al-Shuwaier, welcomed His Highness the Prince and the directors of government and service departments and stressed that this project stems from an investment vision that serves the university and the Jazan region and activates the plans of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 by activating aspects of investment in various government sectors and diversifying sources of income. .
His Excellency pointed out that this project, which is located within the university, covers an area estimated at 100,000 square meters and is 7 floors high. It contains 326 residential units and has 8 types of units, including royal, executive, and regular suites, among others. In addition to the availability of restaurants serving the finest meals and 3 luxurious banquet halls,
Dr. Al-Shuwaier stated that the hotel’s completion rate has reached 98.9%, and it is expected to be inaugurated at the end of this year.
At the conclusion of the meeting, His Excellency the University President and His Excellency the Secretary General of the University Higher Education Fund extended their thanks to His Highness the Deputy Emir of Jazan and to the university guests for supporting and assisting the Emirate of the Jazan region towards the completion of vital projects that serve the region.
