His Royal Highness Prince Fahd bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Emir of Tabuk Region, A visit to the headquarters of the investment hotel project at the University of Tabuk, which is one of the investments of the University Higher Education Real Estate Fund.
At the forefront of welcoming His Highness was the Secretary-General of the University Higher Education Fund, Dr. Abdullah bin Muhammad Al-Dakhil, the Assistant Secretary-General, Dr. Saleh bin Abdullah Al-Harbi, and the Director of the University Affairs Department, Dr. Samer bin Muhammad Al-Aqeel. In the presence of His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Education, Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Muhammad Al-Asmi, His Excellency the Director of the University of Tabuk, Dr. Abdullah bin Mufarreh Al-Dhiyabi, the university’s deputies, and a number of directors of government departments in the region.
For his part, the Secretary-General of the Fund welcomed His Highness the Emir and his accompanying delegation. He gave them a brief explanation of what had been accomplished in the project and what it would add to the region as a whole, stimulating tourism activity there and providing job opportunities for the people of the region. He stated that the hotel is characterized by an innovative urban design and modern interior décor that suits the environment, climate and beauty of the Tabuk region.
His Excellency pointed out that this project, which is located within the university, covers an area estimated at more than 104 thousand square meters, with a height of 7 floors, and contains 228 residential units and has 7 types of units, including royal, executive, and regular suites, among others. In addition to the availability of distinguished restaurants and luxurious banquet halls. Dr. Al-Dakhil stated that the hotel’s completion rate has reached 97% and it is expected to be inaugurated in mid-2018.
His Highness began the visit with a tour of the hotel facilities, starting with the royal suites and corridors, and learned about the most prominent hotel facilities, including the royal suite, the health club, the restaurant and the hotel halls.
At the conclusion of the visit, His Excellency the Secretary-General of the Fund thanked His Highness the Emir of the Tabuk Region for supporting and assisting the Emirate of the Tabuk Region towards the completion of vital projects that serve the region, as well as thanks to His Excellency the Minister of Education, Chairman of the Fund’s Board of Directors, for the periodic and diligent follow-up of vital projects that will develop the Fund’s resources for the continued financial sustainability of universities. .
