Within the program to enhance communication with universities and their periodic visits to raise the level of cooperation with the partners of the University Higher Education Fund in the educational sectors, Representatives of the Fund visited Umm Al-Qura University, and His Excellency Dr. Maadi bin Muhammad Al Madhab, President of the University, and His Excellency the University Vice President, Dr. Farid bin Ali Al-Ghamdi, received His Excellency the Advisor to the General Secretariat, Director of the Fund’s University Affairs Department, Dr. Samer bin Muhammad Al-Aqeel, At the beginning, His Excellency the University President welcomed the representatives of the Fund and appreciated this visit. During the meeting, Dr. Al-Aqeel gave an introductory explanation about the Fund and its strategic vision in enhancing the financial sustainability of universities. As well as its vital role in financing university projects. The financial position of Umm Al-Qura University in the Fund was also reviewed. Discussing aspects of joint cooperation between the university and the Fund and the most important strategic objectives through which the Fund seeks to support the university higher education system in the Kingdom. After that, His Excellency the Advisor to the General Secretariat and Director of the University Affairs Department held a lengthy meeting with His Excellency the University Vice President, in the presence of a team of Their Excellencies the deans of some supporting deanships and the Director General of Financial Affairs at the university. During the meeting, the university’s benefit from financing programs was discussed, as well as enhancing the university’s balance with the fund.
