Sensing the importance of Saudi universities as they are the Fund’s strategic partners, The University Higher Education Fund continued its first periodic visits, beginning this academic year with a visit to the University of Tabuk. The delegation was led by the Secretary-General of the Fund, Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Dakhil, with the participation of the Assistant Secretary-General for Investment, Dr. Saleh Al-Harbi, Director of the University Affairs Department, Dr. Samer Al-Aqeel and the supervisor of the Secretary-General’s Office, Mr. Khaled Al-Hamid, The delegation was received by His Excellency Dr. Attiya bin Muhammad Al-Dhifi, Vice Dean of the University. At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency the Vice President of the University welcomed His Excellency the Secretary-General of the Fund and his accompanying delegation. Then, Dr. Al-Dakhil gave an introductory explanation about the Fund and its strategic vision in supporting the financial sustainability of universities. As well as its vital role in financing university projects, He reviewed with His Excellency the Vice Rector the aspects of joint cooperation between the university and the Fund and the most important strategic objectives through which the Fund seeks to support the university higher education system in the Kingdom.

The Fund delegation also made an inspection visit to the Tabuk Hotel project, one of the real estate investments of the University Higher Education Fund. During which he visited all the project facilities and held a lengthy meeting with the executive and advisory staff implementing the project in order to learn about the latest developments in the project, construction work and the necessary equipment for this tourist facility, which is one of the most important architectural monuments in the Tabuk region.
