On Thursday, April 25, 2019, the Board of Directors of the University Higher Education Fund held its thirtieth meeting, chaired by His Excellency the Minister of Education – Chairman of the Board of Directors – Dr. Hamad bin Mohammed Al Al-Sheikh, and in the presence of Their Excellencies, members of the Board and Secretary of the Board of Directors, Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Dakhil. His Excellency the Minister of Education began the meeting by welcoming the members of the Council and praising their efforts in everything that would achieve the goals that the universities aspire to.
His Excellency the Secretary General of the Fund – Secretary of the Board – explained that the meeting included reviewing the latest developments, work and activities of the Fund, which aim to enhance its investments in accordance with the investment strategy drawn up by the Board of Directors and emanating from the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. Dr. Al-Dakhil pointed out that the Council took a number of decisions and recommendations that would enhance the work and activities of the Fund.
He concluded his speech by saying that the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and his faithful Crown Prince, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz – may God support them – is keen on developing the educational system with unlimited support for education and its outcomes in order to advance the people of our dear country to continue the process of construction and giving. His Excellency the Minister of Education – Chairman of the Board of Directors – and their Excellencies and Excellencies the members of the Board, We are keen to ensure that the Fund supports the sustainability of education programs and initiatives.
