Sensing the importance of Saudi universities as they are the Fund’s strategic partners, The University Higher Education Fund continued its first periodic visits, going to King Faisal University in the city of Hofuf. The delegation was led by the Secretary-General of the Fund, Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Dakhil, with the participation of the Assistant Secretary-General for Investment, Dr. Saleh Al-Harbi, Director of the University Affairs Department, Dr. Samer Al-Aqeel and the supervisor of the Secretary-General’s Office, Mr. Khaled Al-Hamid, The delegation was received by His Excellency the University President, Dr. Muhammad bin Abdulaziz Al-Ohali, in the presence of His Excellency the University Vice President for Studies, Development and Community Service, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Anqari and His Excellency the Supervisor of the Community Partnership Development Department, Dr. Muhanna Al-Dalami, His Excellency the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Khalil Al-Huwaiji, His Excellency the Director of the Financial and Administrative Affairs Department, Mr. Fouad Al-Daaj, At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency the University President welcomed the Secretary-General of the Fund and his accompanying delegation. Then, Dr. Al-Dakhil gave an introductory explanation about the Fund and its strategic vision in supporting the financial sustainability of universities. As well as its vital role in financing university projects, He reviewed with His Excellency the University President the aspects of joint cooperation between the university and the Fund and the most important strategic objectives through which the Fund seeks to support the university higher education system in the Kingdom.
