His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Acting Governor of the Jazan Region, inaugurated on Monday, October 4, 2021, in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Education, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the University Higher Education Fund, Dr. Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sheikh, the Grand Hotel. Millennium Jazan, located in the University City of Jazan University, is one of the investments of the University Higher Education Fund.
The Acting Secretary-General of the University Higher Education Fund, Dr. Turki bin Sulaiman Al-Zumai, explained that the “Grand Millennium” Hotel, Jazan; It is considered one of the Fund’s most important investments made in public universities, thus contributing to national development and tourism projects in the region in line with its strategic plan and the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, indicating that the Fund seeks to optimally invest university resources, enhance internal resources, and diversify sources of funding for university projects.
Dr. Al-Zumai pointed out that the hotel’s area is 100,000 square metres, and it contains 276 luxurious rooms and suites distributed over seven floors, in addition to two royal suites with a panoramic view of the Red Sea. The hotel also includes a number of luxurious restaurants, in addition to a large celebration hall and a ballroom. For conferences with a total area of 3,540 square meters, and meeting rooms equipped with the latest technology, the hotel also contains outdoor and indoor health clubs, and separate gyms for men and women.
